Lou Malnati’s Is Offering Bake-at-Home Pizza Kits
With the possible exception of Vienna Beef hot dogs, malort, and Italian beef sandwiches, no food is more quintessentially Chicago as deep-dish pizza. This restaurant’s South Loop location, which opened on State Street back in 2008, has been popular with tourists and locals alike. These days, the shop is making it easier to bring the restaurant experience into your own home, thanks to delivery, curbside pickup, and catering options.
Pizzas come in personal, small, medium, and large sizes, and are available in both deep and thin crust varieties. The "Malnati Chicago Classic," a pizza with sausage and extra cheese on buttercrust, is the most popular choice, but everyone has their favorite. Other menu items include house-made pastas, salads, sandwiches, and a rotating selection of appetizers and desserts. Pizza kits for baking at home are also available upon request.
